Lamplighters Inn and Tavern tries something new!
They are hosting a night of music for only 100 people. Three Singers/Songwriters will share the stage at the same time while sitting in the round. Kevin Mileski, Dayna Lane, and Dave Tamkin will share their stories and songs to a seated audience. 312 Beer will be sponsoring the event with a meet and greet before the show from 9-10pm. Lampighters will also have free pizza before the show. This is something the North West suburbs have been looking forward to for sometime, Lamplighters new Listening Room: The Singer/Songwriter Circle.
His music has been called the new style of any generation. "There are a lot of singer-songwriters out there; but you pay attention when he performs. There's just something about the way he plays that makes you want to know what's next." Kevin Mileski has been hailed as the fresh new act bringing back the artistry of story telling by using just the right amount of new sound with the familiarity of the old.
Dave Tamkin, has created his own unique style of rhythmic-acoustic rock that's based around a fresh musical vision. His lyrics are unabashedly honest and his passion for playing is undying. His shows vary from intimate solo acoustic performances to a full band experience encapsulating a mixture of personal lyrics and skilled songwriting set against a high-energy percussive backbone.
Described by Us Weekly as “sensual and sincere, sparkling with authenticity” Dayna Lane grew up singing everything under the sun. Born into a family of dancers, artists, and architects, music was second nature to the Illinois native. “I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t singing” says Dayna. “It was a part of my life from well…birth. It’s taken me so many places and opened so many doors. Apart from my family, music has been the greatest gift I’ve ever received.”
